Illegal Tobacco Seizure

On 02/11/25 the Integrated Enforcement Team worked with Royal Greenwich Borough Trading Standard officers along with London Trading Standards Tobacco Co-ordinator officer and tobacco detection dogs.

At a premise on Trafalgar Road in Greenwich the dogs found a hide behind a false wall where a electronic lift lowered the cigarettes from higher up the cavity to a lower area were they were retrieved. There was 153 packets of illegal cigarettes, 1.1kgs of rolling tobacco and 35 vapes seized. The total haul valued at the illegal market price was £3,740 but at the retail price this would be closer to £8,000.
